Even though I have always lived in a city, be it London, Ontario or Toronto, I am a country girl at heart. What I create reflects my love of nature.

Over the years my pottery has depicted leaves, trees, flowers and many little creatures that fly, walk, crawl or slither.

My interests started to include leather work. I wanted to find a way to make functional leather items while keeping the theme of flora and fauna. Using repurposed leather I started painting flowers and beasts on handbags, neckpieces and cuffs.

Always observing and remembering, learning and creating, my work began changing.

Now this original premise has morphed into sculptural form. Where small “treasures” I have collected along with clay, paint and leather have come together to form truly one of a kind artwork.

I strive to imbue each piece with a delicate strength and cohesive beauty.
